Once a victim of bullying, Frida finds a hero in the legendary luchador El Pirana. However she finds herself at her lowest once more when she’s ridiculed during the biggest wrestling match of her life. Through an unexpected meeting with a mysterious taco salesman, Frida learns that she must find strength in herself to overcome her demons.

Sharon Huang
Originally from Taiwan, Sharon moved to Vancouver, Canada at the age of twelve. She then attended Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida to pursue a BFA degree in Computer Animation. During the summers of her sophomore and junior year, Sharon interned at Adobe Systems, and LAIKA/House, respectively. With a four year CG generalist training, but a background in 2D design, Sharon aspires to work as Visual Development artist in the animation industry. Sharon is also a fried rice, curry, and hockey enthusiast.

Aurry Tan
Growing up in sunny Singapore, Aurry is driven not only by her passion for animation and film, but also by an intense desire to experience the four seasons. Her move to just-as-sunny Florida to attend Ringling College of Art and Design only intensified her love for filmmaking, and her need to see snow. During her time at Ringling, Aurry interned at Blue Sky Animation studios, and is going to be an intern at LAIKA/house this summer. Aurry’s love for cinematography has inspired her to pursue a career in layout and lighting/compositing. She also loves reading, watching movies and travelling.

Michael Yates
Born and raised in Northwest Indiana, Michael has been drawing since the age of three. At age 19 Michael moved to Sarasota, Florida where he attended Ringling College of Art and Design, where he graduated with honors with a BFA in Computer Animation. During his time at Ringling Michael interned at both Walt Disney Feature Animation Studios and Pixar Animation studios. He is currently a story artist at Dreamworks Animation. During his free time Michael enjoys playing basketball with the boys and watching movies with his mom.
